Baptism

The baptism of believers with water (by full immersion as taught in the bible) is a sign that a person has repented, received forgiveness, died to sin and accepted the gift of grace offered by Jesus Christ. It is an act of obedience and a public statement of one’s new identity in Christ, having received Him by faith as Saviour and Lord – an outward sign of inward faith. Those who are interested in baptism at Forest Brook (held at least twice a year) will meet with staff to discuss the biblical understanding of baptism and to share their faith journey.
