Core Values

Values are the constant core beliefs that motivate and guide our practices. These are the commonly shared convictions behind our decisions, plans and actions.

Worship ...  celebrating God's presence as a way of life and expressing our complete dependence upon him through prayer. Having been forgiven and changed by Jesus Christ, we seek to offer the body of believers the opportunity to express their love for God through worship both personally and corporately.
(John 4:23,24; Romans 12:1; 1 Corinthians 10:31; Psalm 150)

Fellowship ...
introducing individuals into a relationship with Jesus Christ and subsequently integrating them into the church family & caring for them. A commitment to the biblical truth that following Christ is not just a matter of believing, it also includes belonging.
(Acts 2:42-47; Romans 12:4-8; Ephesians 2:19-22)

Discipleship ...
teaching, training, and equipping God's people for spiritual growth. "We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone complete in Christ."
(Acts 20:32; Colossians 1:9-10; Hebrews 5: 11-6:3)

Service ...
demonstrating God's love through our service toward others. We are committed to "every-member-ministry". God has called every believer to be a minister of his grace, not in self-motivated effort but by the power and with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
(Zechariah 4:6; 1 Corinthians 12:4-27; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Peter 4:10,11)

Mission ... manifesting Christ to the world through acts of loving service & relevant communication of our faith. We are all called to reach those currently outside of a relationship with God and the fellowship of the church by building genuine friendships in which they can experience, first-hand, God's deep love for them in Christ.
(Matthew 28:19,20; Acts 1:8; 2:47)
