Newcomers
We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Forest Brook Community Church for you and your family. If you are checking out church for the very first time or have just moved into the area and are looking for a new church home, we would consider it a privilege to have you join us at Forest Brook.
We exist "to love God and love others." It is our sincere desire that you would experience community through intentional, individual attention, corporate worship, welcome events and much more.
You are most welcome to join us for corporate worship any Sunday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.There are special reserved visitor parking spots for you in our parking lot.When you arrive you will be greeted by individuals who will welcome you and will be able to assist you in finding your way around the building.
There is also a Welcome Center in the lobby where our helpful volunteers can answer your questions about our church, give you a welcome bag with information about Forest Brook and help you sign up for the next Newcomers' events.
During the service we provide excellent care for infants in our nursery and an exciting Children's Ministry and Worship time for preschoolers and children up to Grade 6. Any of our welcomers will be happy to help you locate the Nursery and the Children's Ministry area.
It is our hope that you will week following the service, coffee, tea and juice are served in the gym during an informal time to connect with others.
Throughout the year we have regularly scheduled Newcomers Luncheons immediately following the morning service.These times are designed for you and your family to meet others from Forest Brook (some other new people and some that have been attending for a longer time), connect with staff and other leaders and learn more about the church – all over an informal luncheon. To register either sign up at the Welcome Center or contact the office at 905-427-3442, ext. 100.
