Outreach Ministries
Impacting our community, society and world with Christ’s love

Alpha
Alpha is an opportunity for people of all backgrounds, religions, and viewpoints to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, non-threatening, friendly setting. The course is a 10-week examination of the Christian faith. Forest Brook runs the Alpha program in the fall and again in the winter. Sessions are held on Monday evenings and include dinner and a video presentation, followed by open discussion and questions.
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the good news of God's love. This program of Samaritan's Purse is a great opportunity for people of all ages at FBCC to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way by getting involved in a simple, hands-on mission project. During the month of October, shoe boxes are packed with small toys, school supplies and personal items and are later shipped to needy children around the world.
Missions Awareness Sundays
Several times a year, a Sunday is set aside to focus on local and worldwide missions. Our goal is to increase awareness of and highlight the efforts of missionaries and mission organizations within our congregation, our community and worldwide. A special speaker, educational displays and a multicultural potluck luncheon are all part of these special events.
Short-term Mission Trips
Each year we plan at least one short term mission project. These life changing experiences give team members the opportunity to show love in a practical way and see God's work in another
