Connect 4
At “Connect 4” women of all ages in our community come to Forest Brook to enjoy good coffee and conversation and join in a variety of creative cooking, crafts, fitness and general interest classes. A short talk about how God is at work in the lives of women is also part of this Thursday morning program. Nursery and childcare is provided at a nominal cost. The Winter 2010 session has begun but watch for details of the upcoming Spring session.
Ladies Special Events
Twice a year the women of Forest Brook pull out all the stops and come together for a fabulous themed evening of entertainment, refreshment and inspiration. Women are encouraged to bring their friends and neighbours to these fun-filled “night-out” events which take place before Christmas and in early spring.
Women’s Retreat
The annual fall weekend retreat is a special time when women can escape the demands of daily life and gather together to refresh their souls. It’s a chance to connect with old and new friends, listen to a wonderful speaker, participate in workshops, enjoy the outdoors and even go shopping. Of course there’s also plenty of time for personal reflection, corporate worship and the study of God’s word.
Sisters Mentoring Program
The Sisters program is available to all women who have a desire to become more and more like Christ and who are looking to share each other’s life journey. Women gather weekly or bi-weekly in groups of two to four in a confidential loving environment. Mentors provide spiritual instruction, guidance and personal accountability enveloped in prayer.
